NGĀTI WAEWAE
Ngāti Waewae are mana whenua for Te Tai o Poutini from
Kahurangi Point in the north, to the north bank of the Hokitika River.
We also have a shared interest with Ngāti Mahaki (Te Rūnanga o Makaawhio)
in the area between the south bank of the Hokitika River
and the north bank of the Pouerua River.
